The 3rd of the trilogy, Marbleplaster.it is dedicated to the art of 'Venetian Plaster' or "scagliola" as it was originally known, this is a very decorative and specialised art in which the marble plaster is created in layers and 'dressed' at each layer with different coloured waxes, once the dressings are complete it is polished to a very high lustre. There are only a small
handful of companies around the world that have the skill and knowledge to be able to create this centuries old effect.
